Swimming around Jena

The purpose of this page is to have a database of swimming spots around Jena.

• Due to the pandemic the public swimming possibilities as pools and beaches are closed. So we provide a map of spots where you have access to the water. (See below. ⬇️) They are mostly deep enough for swimming. All of them are for free and without life guard 🏊‍♀️

• We wanna keep the map updated: If you found a new area, inform us to add it to the map. Feel free to send us photos of any location that we will add too. 🗺️

• In case there is no access to any spot. please let us know, that we remove or edit it. 📍

• We also added points where you can easily start or end your boating trips on the river Saale 🚣🌊
