6. International Women Day: Spring Snowflakes Hike

🌻 What happened: We were 24 people, mostly from India and Iran. Our group started Hiking at the village Großschwabhausen and a bit later we already visited the forest with many white flowers called Spring Snowflakes. We continued walking because it was very cold and crossed the village Vollradisroda and later hat a break at the hidden ponds at the former military testing ground. In the end we visited the Forstturm and finished hiking in Jena West. There were many new people in this trip and it was a wonderful experience.
12. German Lockdown Anniversary Party

🌻 What happened: This event was the first outside party of the group as the weather started to get warmer and sunny. We celebrated the second anniversary of German lockdown with the Corona dress code, but no one followed the dress code rule. :D
We played volleyball and badminton and it was really fun. Afterwards we gathered next to bonfire and Nour played Guitar for us. We danced, singed, and had a lot of fun till 21 o'clock that the weather got really cold. A group of people went for dinner at a Syrian restaurant.

🌻 What happened: This event is organized by Paula who wanted to make a big party in the park with disco dances. We started at 5 playing some traditional games from different countries to get to know each other. In the evening when the weather got cold, we set a big fire and started our party officially. Even though it was really cold, around 40 people joined the party and played their favorite music and danced. All and all it was a really nice Saturday evening together.
20. Beginning of Spring: Persian New Year

🌻 What happened: It was a lovely sunny day when the spring officially started. We were around 100 people in total, started at 3 pm and waited for the new year at 16:33:26. The event was a collaboration between Iranians in Jena and our hiking group. We danced a lot, tasted traditional Iranian food and sweets, and found friends. By coming the darkness, we made a fire and sang Iranian songs together. The event finished at about 11 pm.
26. Hiking to the balcony of Jena

🌻 What happened: We had a very beautiful hike with 8 people from 7 different countries. The day was really nice and sunny and we followed the route 4 to the Balcony of Jena. After finishing the uphill and seeing different insects on the way, our picnic part started and Katya cooked some Omelette on a small fire for the whole group. We had a nice chat and singing time together. After the picnic, we continued to Napoleonstein and Landgrafen and we were chilling on the way and enjoying the sun. In Napoleonstein we saw two ponnys and they were so cute. All and all it was a really nice day.

27. PPP: Picnic, potloc, and party

🌻 What happened: The event started at noon of a not very sunny day with people from different countries and different Nationalities. Everyone brought some food to share with others. The event started with everyone introducing their food and eating. After the food, we played volleyball and badminton. As we were next to the river, falling the ball in the river and trying to capture it back was the fun part of the event. We had a small party afterwards with music from different countries and the surprised passengers stopping by and taking photos. The event finished after the sunset with a lot of beautiful memories.
