🌻 What happened: The first hike around Jena was to Jena West and the Napoléonstein.
12. Yoga Hike

🌻 What happened: We had another classic hike in the Jenaer Forst starting from the Beutenberg Campus.
After enjoying the view from the Ernst-Haeckel-Stein we had a Yoga-Session on the meadow, which was taught by Roman and Ashish.
Afterward, we passed the Forstturm and the Bismarckturm before we followed the Leutra-River for coming to the Center.

13. Hiking to Kunitzburg and Grilling

🌻 What happened: After starting from Zwätzen-Train Station we visited the Kunitzer Hausbrücke and hiked uphill to the Kunitzburg Castle Ruins. There we had an introduction round. Later we went to the tiny valley where we visited the town hall of Laasan with a local guide who is a citizen of this cute village.
The hike ended close to the Saale River where we had BBQ and water fun. :-)

17. Swimming at Ostbad and Sunset at Jenzig

🌻 What happened: In the warmest day of the week, we decided to go to Ostbad for swimming, playing volleyball, and sunbathing. It was a cool afternoon.
After the event, we decided not to go to Jenzig and instead we attended a concert organized by the university in paradise park.
19. From Jena to lake Porstendorf 2.0

🌻 What happened: We were motivated by the heat to go to a lake. Last year we combined it with a hiking tour: We started from Jena-Nord, where we visited the church of Zwätzen.
On the hills, we finally found some shadows and also had an introduction round. After crossing the forest we reached Neuengönna, a beautiful village with old nice houses.
A little bit later we arrived in Porstendorf, where some people took the train back to Jena. Most of the participants joined the lake where we had a lot of fun: swimming, boating, playing frisbee and volleyball.
We stayed until the evening because it was very warm and relaxing!
20. Hiking to Leuchtenburg castle

🌻 What happened: Leuchtenburg castle is one of the famous castle in Thuringia. It was a very warm day but people were motivated enough to hit the road.
On the way to Leuchtenburg, we crossed Dohlenstein and many beautiful viewing points. we had spent more than 2 hours time near the castle and enjoyed the view there.
And at last, everybody had taken part in the Push-Ups challenge.
26. Hiking to Rose castle

🌻 What happened: Weekend will never be without a hike. 26th June was a very special day because a rose fest was taking place after 2 years at Dornburg Castle.
We had taken a train from Jena Paradies to Porstendorf and from there we started the hike. Unfortunately, we had lost our way but we reached on time to Dornburg castle.
At Dornburg castle, we have seen many beautiful flowers, and Ashish, Roman, and Kishore were very fortunate they met rose queen 2021 and took a couple of pics with rose queen 2021 and 2019.
27. Small Summer Cleaning Hiking

🌻 What happened: A group of 5 hikers explored off-road trails with many orchids, tasting wild strawberries and crossing amazing meadows with high grass.
Of course, we cleaned a lot of old deposits in the forest north of the Windknollen.
