Wöllnitz

From the main road 88, from where you can already see the church, you quickly reach the district of Wöllnitz, which lies on the idyllic Pennicken valley. The village with its two inns extends eastwards into the valley, at the end of which the Pennickenbach rises from the Fürstenbrunnen.

The Kernberge mountains tower alpine-like in the north, while the Johannisberg rises to the south.
