The dragon (Drachen) gorge (Schlucht) and the Wartburg Castle are both near Eisenach. So you can combine it all by a day trip. (see the route below)
This gorge includes exciting narrow pathes and impressive rocks. Since it is famous, there are many visitors and can get crowded.
